I bought a few to try them out & have been having a blast with my Copics. I just went back & ordered the other plates of stamps so now I'll have the whole set! I can't wait to play with the new ones!

Memory Cube for Workshop

I'm planning on offering this as a Workshop at my Open House. I had my photos printed with a pink tint so they all match the papers better. I like the way it turned out & hope people will want to make this project.

Another shot at using the You Rock set & the Sponging with ink technique. This card looks brighter in person. I LOVE this stamp set!

Wow its been awhile

Life got in the way the last couple weeks so I haven't had time to post much. I have been making items for my 1st Open house that I booked for May 17th I'm excited about it & nervous that I won't get enough stuff made to display.

I'm gonna have to force myself to make more layouts & cards after work every night so I can show off all the new papers & stamps in the new CTMH summer Idea Book. At least it will make me play with some of my new toys so DH won't keep saying Do you ever plan on using these things? He just doesn't get how pretty the paper looks all piled in a stack uncut. :-)

I really wanted to try inking a card using Sponges. So finally I just sat down tonight & did it. I thought the Polar Bear from the CTMH Chillin' set was so cute I had to use him.

I am loving this new set. Aspiration by CTMH. All the stamps used on the card are from the set.

I had to get the new You Rock set as soon as it came out. Since my DH is in a band I knew I'd get lots of use out of it. One of the Band members birthday is coming up so I made this card for him.
I have been working on more pages of my Emmy so I'll post them over the weekend!

I really want to get this Display Album finished so I can show it at my next Gathering. I'm going to offer it as a workshop. Its just so hard to find time to Scrap with my work schedule.
This was actually a picture of Emmy in front of the Christmas Tree but I didn't want to make it a Christmas layout so I used the flowers instead. I love this picture of her she looks so pretty & sweet. You'd never guess at what a Trouble Maker she is by looking at her photos.

I did another page in Emmy's Display Album last night. Its hard to look tough & scary when you only weigh 1 1/2 pounds! She tries to make this scary face to show us when she's mad but we just go Awwww how cute! :)

I used Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Nestibilities Label One and sanded the paper to distress.

I made this card using the new CTMH Feb Stamp of the Month. Its supposed to be Easter Eggs but I used the Eggs to make petals for flowers. The paper is the new Emporium paper.

I had to make a quick card for a co-worker. I would've liked more time to get the card the way I wanted. She loves Pink & Black so I used that color combo. Stamps are CTMH Cupcake Sprinkles.

Emmy's 1st Book

Emmy adopted us on Dec 2nd from the Shelter. We went in just to look around & they let us in a room of cats in crates. The lady opened the door to a crate with 3 kittens in it & the 2 bigger ones hid in the corner & the tiny runt of the litter came running right out & climbed up DH's leg. She's been attached to him pretty much since then.

I just started this Display Album for her. The cover isn't completely done yet. I didn't want to add too much embellishment until I finish all the pages. I will add ribbons across the rings on top when its completed. It has 12 pages inside & so far I've done the 1st page on Adoption Day.
The Display Album, paper & stamps are all CTMH. Once its finished I'm going to use it for classes. I'm thinking it will take at least 4 classes to do a complete book. Or maybe do 1 Workshop where I have all the paper cut & then let them finish the book at home later.

I decided to make multiples when I make cards so I have some extras on hand all the time. I had to make a card for a friend so I made it in 3 different colors. I used Copics to color her in & then Liquid Applique on the fur to make it pop.

My BIL has been in the hospital for the past few weeks since before Christmas. I made this card for him today to cheer him up.
I used CTMH papers & the stamp set Make it Count which is one of my favorites.

I was looking through my Photobucket account & saw this card I made for a swap on SCS I love my Bellas! I used my Cuttlebug Embossing folder for the background & Nesties for the Scalloped frame. I colored her in using my Bic Markers. Now that I have my Copics I may try her again to see the difference in shading.

I got a Cuttlebug!! Finally after wanting one forever and a day. We went shopping & I got my Cuttlebug then on the way home I spotted a stamping store with a sign outside that said Cuttlebug Folders & Nestabilities Now in Stock!!!!! It was like Christmas in July! I got the Paisley folder I've been looking for & the Rectangle Scallops & Large Circles Nesties & I am loving them! Gonna get more soon!

I made this card using one of my new Bellas. I just love Bubblebella & she was so fun to work with! The clear dots look more like bubbles in person then in the photo. This card is for a friend from work. I hope she likes it.

I started this blog as a place to post my cards & other stamping projects. I have been away from stamping for awhile & really look forward to getting my hands covered in ink again! I'm not one of those stampers that has to clean every stamp til it looks brand new. I do clean them after each use but they all have that well loved inked up look that shows I've actually used them. Thats the way I can tell my fave stamps they're the dirtiest!

I hope to post a bunch of new cards in the following days as I get my brand new Bellas Inked up!
